REPORTING AND EXCUSING STUDENT ABSENCES-If a parent or guardian wishes to report and/or excuse a student absence, please call the attendance line – available 24 hours a day – by dialing the main school telephone number 902-384-2320 and pressing “1.” In order for an absence to be excused, we must receive notice within three school days of the absence. Emails and calls to the main office line will not be accepted.

MAIN OFFICE REMINDER-The Administrative Assistant, Ms. Deale, is away from her desk from 12-1PM. If you call the school and leave a message during this time, please be aware, it will not be retrieved until after 1PM. Ms. Deale is also on break from 3:15-3:30pm and calls made during this time will be retrieved after 3:30pm.

MRHS COMMUNITY BADMINTON-Community Badminton takes place on Wednesday evenings from 7-9pm for all interested.  The cost to play is $1 per person nightly to help offset the cost of shuttles. Come out and enjoy, everyone is welcome! New COVID regulations apply.

TABLE TENNIS-Table Tennis activity has resumed at MRHS with tournaments permitted after March 21. The following Mondays are scheduled for play at the school. March 21, 28, April 4, 11, 25, May 2 & 9, 2022 from 6:30-8pm. We have a PROVINCIAL tournament scheduled for our school on April 9, 2022. For students interested in the School Championships, we have a sign-up list in the foyer. There is a practice today, after school from 3-4pm OR students may come to the school from 6:30-8pm tonight. Some students may want to attend both sessions. Please remember to sign up even if you cannot attend today's practice.

JUNIOR BOYS BASKETBALL-There is a Junior Boys Basketball practice after school today at MVEC. Please meet in the foyer. Pick up is at 4:30pm.

YEARBOOK-There is  a Yearbook meeting at lunch today in room 2215.

SENIOR BOYS BASKETBALL-There will be a Sr Boys Basketball meeting today at recess in Ms. Probert's room (1209).
