REPORTING AND EXCUSING STUDENT ABSENCES-If a parent or guardian wishes to report and/or excuse a student absence, please call the attendance line – available 24 hours a day – by dialing the main school telephone number 902-384-2320 and pressing “1.” In order for an absence to be excused, we must receive notice within three school days of the absence. Emails and calls to the main office line will not be accepted.

MAIN OFFICE REMINDER-The Administrative Assistant, Ms. Deale, is away from her desk from 12-1PM. If you call the school and leave a message during this time, please be aware, it will not be retrieved until after 1PM. Ms. Deale is also on break from 3:15-3:30pm and calls made during this time will be retrieved after 3:30pm.

COMMUNITY BADMINTON-Community Badminton takes place on Wednesday evenings from 7-9pm for all interested.  The cost to play is $1 per person nightly to help offset the cost of shuttles. Come out and enjoy, everyone is welcome! New COVID regulations apply.

TABLE TENNIS-The following Mondays are scheduled for play at the school. April 4, 11, 25, May 2 & 9, 2022 from 6:30-8pm. We have a PROVINCIAL tournament scheduled for our school on April 9, 2022.

THE ADDAMS FAMILY CREW???-Do you want to be involved in our coming production of The Addams Family? We are now recruiting students for various crew positions, including stagehands, hair and make-up artists, and positions in the props, costumes, and tech departments. If you are interested, pick up an "Expression of Interest" form from the bulletin board and bring it back signed and completed by Tuesday, April 5th.

JUNIOR GIRLS BASKETBALL-There will be a Jr. Girls Basketball team meeting at recess in Ms. Payne's room.

MRHS TABLE TENNIS-Students at MRHS are invited to sign up for the school table tennis championships which take place on Friday, April 8th from 3-5:30pm. The sign up sheet is outside the gym.

JUNIOR BOYS BASKETBALL-Congratulation to the Junior Boys Basketball team. Although we didn't win the banner yesterday the boys played their hardest and had a great season. Mr. Odo and Ms.Carroll are so proud of their sportsmanship, team work and positive attitudes!
