REPORTING AND EXCUSING STUDENT ABSENCES-If a parent or guardian wishes to report and/or excuse a student absence, please call the attendance line – available 24 hours a day – by dialing the main school telephone number 902-384-2320 and pressing “1.” In order for an absence to be excused, we must receive notice within three school days of the absence. Emails and calls to the main office line will not be accepted.

MAIN OFFICE REMINDER-The Administrative Assistant, Ms. Deale, is away from her desk from 12-1PM. If you call the school and leave a message during this time, please be aware, it will not be retrieved until after 1PM.

MRHS COMMUNITY BADMINTON-Community Badminton takes place on Wednesday evenings from 7-9pm for all interested.  The cost to play is $1 per person nightly to help offset the cost of shuttles. Come out and enjoy, everyone is welcome! New COVID regulations apply.

TABLE TENNIS-The Province has given permission for activity to resume with tournaments permitted after March 21. The following Mondays are scheduled for play at the school. March 21, 28, April 4, 11, 25, May 2 & 9, 2022 from 6:30-8pm. We have a PROVINCIAL tournament scheduled for our school on April 9, 2022. For students interested in the School Championships, we have a sign-up list in the foyer. There will be some practices after school, but these will need to be coordinated with other school activities. We need more students to sign up for Table Tennis. The maximum number is 4 players per team and the sheets are posted outside the gym. Please be sure to visit and sign up if you are interested!

SENIOR BOYS BASKETBALL-There will be a Sr. Boys Basketball Practice today from 3-4:30pm.

MRHS SPIRIT WEEK-Tomorrow will be vacation mode, be it the beach, the ski hill or a certain place around the world, dress for you favorite destination. Remember the grade level with the most participation this week will win an ice cream sundae party Friday at lunch. 

SPIRIT WEEK ACTIVITIES-There will be mock rodeo activities in the gym at lunch today. There will be choice activities Friday afternoon from 1-3pm Please sign up on the bulletin board by the main stairwell by Thursday at  3pm. If you do not sign up you will be placed in an activity. Attendance will be taken. 

JUNIOR BOYS BASKETBALL-There will be a junior boys basketball meeting in Ms.Carroll's room during recess.
