BOTTLE REFILL STATIONS-MRHS is equipped with bottle refill stations. To help reduce our ecological footprint, students are reminded to please bring their own water bottles to school to refill as necessary throughout the day as we are no longer supplying cups. Thank You!

FRIDAY, MAY 5TH-RED DRESS/SHIRT DAY-Indigenous women and girls in Canada—both on reserve or in urban areas, regardless of age or socio-economic status—are at least three times more likely to experience violence and at least six times more likely to be murdered than non-Indigenous women and girls in Canada. On Friday, May 5th, we join together to WEAR RED to honour those victims of MMIWG (Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women & Girls).

COURSE REGISTRATION-This is a reminder students in grades 9-11 to complete their 2023-24 course registration in PowerSchool. If you require assistance or a PowerSchool reset, please see Ms. MacKenzie.

TRACK & FIELD PRACTICE-There will be an after school track and field practice this Wednesday and Thursday from 3-4:30pm. There will be a throwing clinic Wednesday for those signed up for discus and or shotput. Please see Mrs. Harnish if you have any questions.

JUNIOR HIGH SEMI FORMAL-This week the junior high students are invited to the gym at lunch hour to check out the collection of dresses and limited suits to wear to the junior semi formal.

MOTHER'S DAY CRAFT WORKSHOP-There will be a Mother's Day Craft workshop today in the Youth Health Centre during lunch break. Bring your lunch, all materials are free!

JAVELIN THROWING CLINIC-Mr. Gibson will be at MRHS Thursday after school to do a javelin throwing clinic for all track and field students who signed up to throw. Please see Mrs. Harnish if you are not able to attend.

TRACK & FIELD-There will be a meeting today at recess for all students who signed up for track and field. Please be prompt!

GREEN TEAM-The green team will be meeting at lunch time on Thursday in the FST room. Snacks are provided. Hope to see you there!
