Hello Families,
Please see the attached schedule for high school Summative Assessments (Jan 28 & 29). Please note the following:
- The schedule is shorter than in previous years to reflect the changing nature of how final assessments are administered across the province.
- The English 10 provincial assessment will take place during regular class hours on January 26th and 27th.
- All online Nova Scotia Virtual School (NSVS) assessments will take place on the morning of January 22nd.
- Some high school courses are holding final assessments during regular class hours January 23rd, 26th and 27th.
- If you do not see one or more of your child's courses reflected in the attached schedule it means those course assessments are held beforehand in class.
- There are no regular classes for high school students January 28-30th.
- If your child is on site waiting for either an assessment or to go home on the bus they must wait in the cafeteria, library or sign out at the main office and leave property. We require a sign out to ensure accurate numbers in case of emergency.
- Students are responsible to know when their final assessments will take place.
