REPORTING AND EXCUSING STUDENT ABSENCES-If a parent or guardian wishes to report and/or excuse a student absence, please call the attendance line – available 24 hours a day – by dialing the main school telephone number 902-384-2320 and pressing “1.” In order for an absence to be excused, we must receive notice within three school days of the absence. Emails and calls to the main office line will not be accepted.

MAIN OFFICE REMINDER-The Administrative Assistant, Ms. Deale, is away from her desk from 12-1PM. If you call the school and leave a message during this time, please be aware, it will not be retrieved until after 1PM. Ms. Deale is also on break from 3:15-3:30pm and calls made during this time will be retrieved after 3:30pm.

COMMUNITY BADMINTON-Community Badminton takes place on Wednesday evenings from 7-9pm for all interested.  The cost to play is $1 per person nightly to help offset the cost of shuttles. Come out and enjoy, everyone is welcome!

TABLE TENNIS-The following Mondays are scheduled for play at the school. April 11, 25, May 2 & 9, 2022 from 6:30-8pm.

FUNDRAISER FOR SENIOR GIRLS BASKETBALL-The Senior girls basketball team will be doing an in-school fundraiser to raise money for the purchase of new basketball jerseys for next school year. On Monday’s, the Team will be taking pre-orders and payment (outside of the gym during lunch break) for a breaded chicken burger and drink to have at lunch on Tuesday’s. A chicken burger & drink combo will be $4.00. Extra chicken burgers can be purchased for $3.00. Over Easter weekend the pre-orders will be taken Thursday, April 14th with the burgers still arriving the following Tuesday, April 19th. As part of the fundraiser, Moday's will also be Mike & Ike Monday where you can buy a box of Mike & Ikes for $2. DUE TO A SHORTAGE OF MIKE & IKES THE TEAM WILL BE SELLING SKITTLES INSTEAD FOR $2!!

MRHS BOOK CLUB-Book club will meet Wednesday at lunch in the library. Please see Ms. Stewart if you have any questions.

PROM COMMITTEE-There will be a brief Prom committee meeting at recess today in room 2303.

JUNIOR GIRLS BASKETBALL-Could all Jr Girls basketball members please return their jerseys and pay team fees to Ms. Payne as soon as possible.
