REPORTING AND EXCUSING STUDENT ABSENCES-If a parent or guardian wishes to report and/or excuse a student absence, please call the attendance line – available 24 hours a day – by dialing the main school telephone number 902-384-2320 and pressing “1.” In order for an absence to be excused, we must receive notice within three school days of the absence. Emails and calls to the main office line will not be accepted.

MAIN OFFICE REMINDER-The Administrative Assistant, Ms. Deale, is away from her desk from 12-1PM. If you call the school and leave a message during this time, please be aware, it will not be retrieved until after 1PM.

MRHS COMMUNITY BADMINTON-Community Badminton takes place on Wednesday evenings from 7-9pm for all interested.  The cost to play is $1 per person nightly to help offset the cost of shuttles. Come out and enjoy, everyone is welcome! New COVID regulations apply.

COFFEE HOUSE UPDATE-The coffee house has been moved to Thursday, March 10th. All student talent is welcome!  Please see Ms. Clarke by March 3rd if you would like to perform.

TABLE TENNIS-The Province has given permission for activity to resume with tournaments permitted after March 21. The following Mondays are scheduled for play at the school. March 7, 21, 28, April 4, 11, 25, May 2 & 9, 2022 from 6:30-8pm. We have a PROVINCIAL tournament scheduled for our school on April 9, 2022. For students interested in the School Championships, we have a sign-up list in the foyer. There will be some practices after school, but these will need to be coordinated with other school activities.

YEARBOOK-There is  a Yearbook meeting at lunch today in room 2215.

JUNIOR BOYS BASKETBALL-Junior Boys Basketball practice is cancelled after school  today. There will a short team meeting at recess in Ms.Carroll's room (2215).

SENIOR GIRLS BASKETBALL-The Senior Girls Basketball game scheduled at Hants North this afternoon has been cancelled.
