JUNIOR GIRLS BASKETBALL-Congratulations to the Junior Girls Basketball Team who defeated South Colchester last night by a score of 50 to 34. Lighting up the score board for the Mustangs were Ava, Tia, Josie, Evangelina, Hadley and Ava. Excellent defensive play by Jennie Pearl and Kalaya. Great Job ladies!

MRHS TABLE TENNIS-Table Tennis for students will happen this year under COVID-19 restrictions. Students who are interested can register for the inter-school competition on the sign-up sheets outside of the gym. We can only accept 3 students for each team. There are no individual events this year. If we have more than three students then a play-off will have to take place to determine the three players for that team. BE SURE TO SIGN UP BY APRIL 1, 2021.

OVERDUE BOOKS-Students and staff are asked to return their overdue library books to the library. If you are not sure if you have an overdue book, please contact Ms. Stewart. You can either place them in the book return bin, if your classroom has one, or drop them off at the library in the blue book return bin by the door. Thanks!

BADMINTON-Badminton takes place Wednesday evenings from 7-9pm for all interested. The cost is $1 per night with proceeds to help offset shuttle costs. HRCE COVID rules will be in effect. All are welcome!

OVERDUE FORMS-Students are reminded to please be sure that all of your forms have been submitted to the main office for this school year. These forms were due by the end of September but we still have a number that have not been turned in. Please check your backpacks for completed Registration, Student Handbooks & Media Release Forms. If you are unsure if they have been submitted or need replacement copies please do not hesitate to check in at the main office and we would be happy to assist you.

REPORTING AND EXCUSING STUDENT ABSENCES-If a parent or guardian wishes to report and/or excuse a student absence, please call the attendance line – available 24 hours a day – by dialing the main school telephone number and pressing “1.” Written notes will also be accepted at the main office. In order for an absence to be excused, we must receive notice within three school days of the absence. Emails and calls to the main office line will not be accepted
