DANCE ELIGIBILITY-The Eligibility list for the Junior Year End Dance has now been posted at the office. The deadline to make changes is Friday, June 7, 2019 at 3pm.

JUNIOR YEAR END DANCE-Guest slips for the Junior Year End Dance are now available at the Main Office. They are due back by 3pm on Monday, June 10th.

HRM RECREATION YOUTH LEADERSHIP PROGRAM-HRM RECREATION AND YOUTH LEADERSHIP PROGRAM is looking for you! The youth leadership program is for students ages 13 and up, generally between grades 7, 8 & 9. It is a great program that builds community involvement, leadership, social skills, job readiness, and sets students up with lots of volunteer opportunities within the community.  It is a really great program and this year we are hoping to get more involvement and more participants. If you are interested in learning more about this opportunity, there is an information night being held on Wednesday, June 5th at 7pm at MVEC. See Ms. Mackenzie Boudreau if you have any questions.

JUNIOR GIRLS SOFTBALL-The Junior Girls Softball Team played hard for four games yesterday in North River. There was a great effort made out there by all, and you made some serious progress in your game ladies! Can't wait to see what next year brings. Congratulations to the players for giving it their all! Please meet in room 2205 at lunch to return your jersey to Mrs. Doucette.

YEARBOOK TEAM PHOTOS-Track & Field, Table Tennis and Badminton team photos have been rescheduled. They will be taken Tuesday, June 11th at the start of lunch in the gym.

MRHS GSA-The MRHS GSA will meet in the Art Room on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday during lunch breaks for the remainder of this week. All GSA members are being asked to attend and help complete the painting work.

GRAD FEES-Grad Fees are now overdue. Potential grads are reminded to please pay your $50 fee at the main office asap!

MORNING SUPERVISION-Students are reminded to remain in the Cafeteria when arriving in the mornings until the 8:40am bell goes and supervision begins for the day.

REPORTING AND EXCUSING STUDENT ABSENCES-If a parent or guardian wishes to report and/or excuse a student absence, please call the attendance line – available 24 hours a day – by dialing the main school telephone number and pressing “1.” Written notes will also be accepted at the main office. In order for an absence to be excused, we must receive notice within three school days of the absence. Emails and calls to the main office line will not be accepted.

HELP KEEP OUR HALLWAYS CLEAN-Students are asked not to leave their book bags and/or knapsacks in the hallways unattended. Food and drinks are permitted in the cafeteria and outside only, please be sure to utilize the recyclable and garbage bins available throughout the building. We appreciate your cooperation in this matter!

POTENTIAL GRADS-SCHOLARSHIPS & BURSARIES-Potential Grads are reminded to check in the outer guidance office for scholarship/bursary applications on the "Scholarship Table". Please see Ms. MacKenzie Boudreau for more information.

SIGN IN-All students are reminded to sign-in at the main office if you arrive after the 8:55am bell, which marks the beginning of first class. Even for Senior High students a parent's sign-in signature, phone call, or a note is required when arriving late.

ELEVATOR USE-Unless a student has permission from the Main Office and a specific need to use the elevator, it is off limits for student use.

LOST & FOUND-Please check the Lost & Found outside the Cafeteria for any missing items. Smaller items such as eyeglasses, jewellery or electronics may be at the Main Office.
