GIRLS GROUP -  meets today, at lunch break, for this week only, in the Youth Health Centre.

SOFTBALL -  Mrs. Doucette will hold a brief meeting today for any junior high girls who are interested in playing  softball this year. The meeting will be held at 12:10 in the Family Studies Room, Rm 2206. If you want to play! Come out today! 

TABLE TENNIS - There will be a mandatory meeting for all team table tennis players today at 12:15 in the gymnasium in regards to the upcoming tournament at CEC. Please connect with Mrs. Harnish if you know you will be unable to attend. 

TRACK & FIELD practice will be held for all events on Wednesday, April 17th from 3:10-4:30pm

MERCH STORE: this week only all Hoodies will be on sale for $35:00

APRIL 30TH-ALL STUDENTS WILL HAVE REGULARLY SCHEDULED CLASSES ON TUESDAY, APRIL 30TH! Please be aware that due to the fact that we are a combined Junior/Senior High School that this may differ from what is listed on the Halifax Regional Centre for Education's 2018-2019 Calendar.

EAST HANTS SOCCER CLUB 2019 SUMMER REGISTRATION-The East Hants Soccer Club has begun registration for the upcoming 2019 Summer Soccer Season. There are pamphlets available at the main office for any students that are interested.

TABLE TENNIS TOURNAMENT-Students that are interested in the Table Tennis tournament taking place after school today are asked to please sign up outside the gym. Free pizza will be provided for all participants!

GRAD FEES-Grad Fees are now overdue. Potential grads are reminded to please pay your $50 fee at the main office asap!

MRHS MERCH STORE-The MRHS Merch Store is now being hosted in room 1308 every Thursday.

MORNING SUPERVISION-Students are reminded to remain in the Cafeteria when arriving in the mornings until the 8:40am bell goes and supervision begins for the day.

HRM OPEN GYM-There will be open gym here at MRHS on Tuesday and Friday nights from 7-9pm.

BADMINTON-Badminton takes place in the MRHS Gym every Wednesday evening from 7-9pm. The drop in fee is $1 and all are welcome!

REPORTING AND EXCUSING STUDENT ABSENCES-If a parent or guardian wishes to report and/or excuse a student absence, please call the attendance line – available 24 hours a day – by dialing the main school telephone number and pressing “1.” Written notes will also be accepted at the main office. In order for an absence to be excused, we must receive notice within three school days of the absence. Emails and calls to the main office line will not be accepted.

HELP KEEP OUR HALLWAYS CLEAN-Students are asked not to leave their book bags and/or knapsacks in the hallways unattended. Food and drinks are permitted in the cafeteria and outside only, please be sure to utilize the recyclable and garbage bins available throughout the building. We appreciate your cooperation in this matter!

POTENTIAL GRADS-SCHOLARSHIPS & BURSARIES-Potential Grads are reminded to check in the outer guidance office for scholarship/bursary applications on the "Scholarship Table". Please see Ms. MacKenzie Boudreau for more information.

SIGN IN-All students are reminded to sign-in at the main office if you arrive after the 8:55am bell, which marks the beginning of first class. Even for Senior High students a parent's sign-in signature, phone call, or a note is required when arriving late.

ELEVATOR USE-Unless a student has permission from the Main Office and a specific need to use the elevator, it is off limits for student use.

LOST & FOUND-Please check the Lost & Found outside the Cafeteria for any missing items. Smaller items such as eyeglasses, jewellery or electronics may be at the Main Office.
